Bobbi Fulcher-Smith
Bobbi Fulcher-Smith was born in Los Angeles, California and trained at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena until 1983. She spent the first 15 years of her creative career in Los Angeles as a successful freelance Art Director, Graphic Designer and Production Manager creating visual art and graphics for print advertising, direct response marketing and the entertainment industry.
After moving to England and setting up a studio in Salcombe 1991 she began the second stage of her career as a lecturer, gallery consultant and painter.
Currently painting and exhibiting full time, Bobbi's work covers a wide range of subjects and styles from traditional to abstract. Working mainly in acrylic she can be inspired by the smallest of everyday items to the atmospheric light, textures and colour combinations of the West country's verdant land and seascapes.
